By Land
Equal distance between Nashville and Memphis, Henderson County is situated strategically to serve fast-growing areas of the United States. Four-lane highways, U.S. 412 and I-40 conveniently connect Henderson County to the entire world. State roads include Highways 20, 22, 100, 104, 114, 200, 201 and 421.
By Air
Henderson County has convenient access to international airports in both Memphis and Nashville. The county also has one of only six general aviation airports in the state with at least 6,000 feet of runways. The 400-acre Beech River Regional Airport includes a lighted runway and taxiway, modern navigational aids, a 4,000-square-foot terminal building, 10,000-square-foot maintenance hangar and 24 T-hangar units to serve business, corporate and personal aircrafts and a full-length, parallel taxiway for increased safety.

Henderson County includes much of the shoreline in the Beech River Watershed, and both the Port of Memphis and Port of Cates Landing are within 120 miles.
